I help children, teens and young adult women who are challenged with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges overcome self-doubt and engage in life wholeheartedly.
Through empathetic listening, I provide a space where you can feel completely safe and open up.
Together, we'll explore how to get to a place where you can trade the mask of perfection for a life full of authentic connection.
Between the pressure to be a good friend, a good student, a good employee, a good daughter--
there are so many ways to feel not good enough.
Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed right now with all that's going on. You may be feeling:
If absorbing the feelings of everyone around you is affecting your ability to live your life, then it may be time to try therapy.
As your therapist, I will meet you where you are. The places inside that feel too scary to go to-- I will go with you.
I will gently guide you back to your core self-- the clear, creative, compassionate, courageous self you had forgotten was there.
It's been with you all along.
I love working with highly sensitive teens and young adult women because I know firsthand the weight of feeling responsible for the world's grief on top of managing everyday responsibilities. I also know what it's like to finally begin to peel away the mask of perfection and find the deep joy that comes through connecting authentically and vulnerably with others.
Therapy can successfully help you overcome feelings of low self-worth, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress.
It can help you:
I received my Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University with a concentration in Violence Against Women and Children. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania, and since graduating have completed extensive training in experiential, relational, and trauma-focused modes of therapy. I have completed a three-year training program in Gestalt Therapy as well as extensive training in Internal Family Systems therapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). These forms of therapy recognize the ways in which simply talking about issues can fail to sustain lasting change and that deeper change comes from having new, deeply felt emotional experiences within a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship.
